2. Registration
Ticket reservation with the AMSBus.cz system can be made by registered users only (Customers). E-tickets can also be purchased without prior registration. Payments are accepted by credit card and wire transfer via internet banking. Registration is free of charge. During registration the following information is required:
- Email address (used as login)
- Password
- Name
- Surname
- Telephone no. (used only in case of emergency)
It is required to fill in all obligatory information in order to confirm your registration. This personal data is also necessary for the Customer´s agreement with the terms of transportation contract. If registration has been completed successfully, the customer will obtain an email with a manual to activate his or her account.
Registration is valid for 12 months from the date of the initial registration. ` This period is automatically extended for another 12 months each time a reservation is made or a ticket is purchased.
3. Reservation
Making a Reservation is free of charge and non-binding. It is considered a temporary blocking of tickets for subsequent purchase. During the reservation process the Customer is informed about the latest date possible for the purchase of the reserved ticket. A reservation is made by selecting possible bus connections that the system offers after specifying a place of departure, a destination, and the date and time of departure.
In the case that the Carrier has enabled the purchase of e-tickets for a particular bus connection, the Reservation can be made (i.e. turned into a ticket) online as an e-ticket by adding the Reservation into the shopping cart and making a money transfer via selected payment gateway (for more details see E-ticket purchase).
A reserved ticket can also be bought during the office hours of any AMSBus booking office (
http://offices.svt.cz
) by providing the reservation code.
4. E-ticket purchase
An E-ticket can be purchased either with or without previous registration.
The Customer´s agreement with the Terms of Transportation Contract and with his or her personal data being processed is required before completing the E-ticket purchase.
During the purchase, the customer specifies the requested number of tickets including specific discounts. In the case that the Carrier requires the name of the Customer, it is necessary to enter it into the system, or to enter other required data (for more details see Passenger data). When purchasing a ticket without previous registration, it is necessary to enter the Customer´s e-mail address where the ticket will be sent.
Without presenting a displayed or printed e-ticket and possibly an identification card confirming the required discount, the Passenger will not be allowed to board the bus or to ride the train and the e-ticket will forfeit without refund. If the Carrier does not require a displayed or printed e-ticket, it is sufficient to present the code of the ticket. The Customer is notified of this fact during the e-ticket purchase as well as in the confirmation e-mail.
During the ticket purchase, the Customer is redirected to the selected payment gateway. The Operator does not in any way encounter the customer’s personal data, such as login information for internet banking, credit card number, the cardholder’s name, or the card expiration date. All Payments made by credit card are secured by 3D Secure.
Following successful payment, the Operator makes out an e-ticket in the form of an electronic file.
The Operator sends the PDF file with the e-ticket to the e-mail address provided by the Customer during the purchase procedure. The Customer may display this file, print it, or save it.
5. Passenger data
Some bus Carriers require additional passenger data, e.g. name and surname, phone number. In this case, Customers must provide information which is then visible on the tickets. The tickets are not transferable.
When selecting a particular connection, the Customer is informed about valid fare discounts for the particular bus or train connection. Fare discounts claimed by the Customers must be proven at boarding time or during the ride. Otherwise they are not allowed to board and their ticket forfeits without refund.

The Operator is not responsible for the Carrier, whose liability abides to respective transportation legislation and particular Terms of Transportation.
The Operator is not liable for potential damages if the Customer fails to accept the e-ticket.
7. Customer’s liability
During the purchase of an e-ticket the Customer has to check all entered data, especially the day of departure, the selected bus connection, the price, as well as the e-mail address for delivery.
When collecting the Reservation at the AMSBus booking offices, the Customer has to check all data on the ticket immediately after it has been issued. In the case of a discrepancy, the ticket must be returned immediately (within 30 minutes after issue) at the same booking office and cancelled.
8. E-ticket return and refund
The Terms of e-ticket return are determined by the Carrier. The particular cancellation fee as well as the time left up until the departure during which the e-ticket can still be returned are printed on the ticket.
An E-ticket can be returned only through the application of AMSBus.cz, not at any of the AMSBus booking offices.
The refunded amount of money will be returned to the Customer’s bank account through the previously chosen payment gateway.
9. E-ticket warranty claim
The Carrier is responsible for the process of the transportation. The Passenger cannot claim any refund for potential damage caused by delay or cancellation of the bus connection. If the passenger did not use a ticket for a ride shorter then 250km, because the appropriate connection was cancelled or delayed on departure more than 30 minutes, the fare will be refunded. Transportation for a longer ride is defined by The Regulation (EU) No 181/2011.
The Passenger may claim this refund at the Operator by filling in the Customer Support Form with the claimed e-ticket attached. The link for the Form is available at AMSBus.cz webpage. The Operator is obligated to confirm all received claims of this kind within two working days. In the case that the Customer does not receive a confirmation via e-mail within the given time, the claim is considered “not delivered” and he or she has to reclaim the E-ticket again. Only in some exceptional cases, the Customer can send the warranty claim and the printed e-ticket by registered mail to the Operator’s address which is as follows:
ČSAD SVT Praha s.r.o.
Křižíkova 4-6
186 50 Praha 8 - Karlín
Czech Republic
The Operator will verify the warranty claim with the Carrier. In the case that it is proven legitimate, the Operator will refund the fare via selected payment gateway to the Customer’s bank account which was previously used for paying the fare. The Customer will be notified of the result of the warranty claim procedure.
